Call for papers

We invite submissions for the Workshop on AI in Organizations and the Future of Work to be held at EMLYON Business School on May 13th 2025. This workshop aims to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of work, organizational structures, and the workforce. We seek to bring together researchers to discuss theoretical, empirical, and practical insights that address the intersection of AI, work, and organizational dynamics. 

Workshop Themes

The workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including: 

  1. Discipline-specific applications of generative AI and machine learning: accounting, behavioral economics, consulting, economics, finance, human resources, law, logistics, marketing, strategy 

  1. Organizational change with/from AI adoption and transformation of job roles 

  1. Economics of AI and data (competition, inequality, privacy, markets for information, business models, policy) 

  1. AI in decision-making and organizationalgovernance 

  1. Collaboration betweenhumans and AI in workenvironments 

  1. Ethics, fairness, and bias in workplace AI 

  1. Future worktrends and AI in the labormarket
